Doors open at 7.30pm, and tickets are €15 — available on the door or in advance via eventbrite.

County Kildare Orchestra is an amateur orchestra based in Kildare. Our mission is to bring music to the widest audience possible. We play several concerts each year in Kildare and surrounding counties.

The Orchestra's repertoire spans the great musical eras from the Baroque (Bach and Handel), the Classical (Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven) to the Romantics (Sibelius, Rachmaninov, Schumann, Bruch and Elgar).

From symphonies and concertos, the Orchestra has also performed highlights from Rossini, Verdi and Mascagni in addition to waltzes and polkas from Strauss and Lehar. Occasionally our works take us right up to present day, as we perform Copland and well known Morricone film themes.

Whatever we perform, we are always dedicated to musicality of the highest degree, and ensuring that everyone leaves our performances with a smile on their face!

We continually welcome new players. If you are a current or lapsed musician interested in joining, please get in touch.
